Inclusive Health - Federal Option was established under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as the first step toward Health Care Reform. We provide affordable, individual health insurance for North Carolinians who buy their own health insurance and have a pre-existing medical condition, who are a US legal resident and who have been without health insurance coverage for at least six (6) months.
Inclusive Health - Federal Option rates are capped by law and cannot exceed a certain level. As a result, our coverage is always the most affordable option for our members and for many, Inclusive Health - Federal Option is the only option.
Inclusive Health - Federal Option offers four different levels of coverage to best fit your health care and financial needs. Our plans are similar to those you purchase from commercial insurers. We offer PPO plans, a high deductible health plan and even a Health Savings Account (HSA), so you can maximize your tax savings.
We cover a broad range of services, including preventive care, urgent care, outpatient services, in-patient services, prescription drug benefits and more.
